Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Komilfo platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
2. The service
Komilfo provides a multi-tenant cloud-based business management platform including CRM, ERP, accounting, HR, and industry-specific modules. Features vary by subscription plan. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
3. Subscriptions & billing
All paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are listed in USD; currency conversion may apply.
A 14-day free trial is available on all plans. No credit card is required to start a trial.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
Refunds are not provided for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your access continues until the end of the billing period.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers are notified by email.
4. Your data
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into your Komilfo workspace. We process it only as necessary to provide the service. You may export your data at any time. On account termination, data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Komilfo to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Store or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Conduct unauthorised penetration testing or security scans
- Resell or sublicense access to the platform without written agreement
- Circumvent usage limits or access controls
6. Uptime & support
We target 99.9% monthly uptime. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance. Enterprise plans include a formal SLA. Support is provided via email for all plans; priority support for Professional and above.
7. Intellectual property
The Komilfo platform, including all software, designs, and documentation, is owned by Komilfo. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the platform for your internal business purposes during your subscription term.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Komilfo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms with or without notice. On termination, your access ends and your data enters the 30-day deletion queue.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town, South Africa, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction.
